Overview:

Tabhata Lazzara is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing student, a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), and a Licensed Medical Laboratory Technician (MLAT) who is committed to delivering compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care that aligns with the highest standards of nursing practice in Canada.

Tabhata held a key leadership role as the Student Lead for the Cultural Safety Awareness and Sensitivity Team as part of the Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) Global Conference, organized by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO). In this role, she was responsible for managing team initiatives that promoted culturally safe and inclusive care practices. Her leadership involved coordinating student efforts, facilitating collaboration, and supporting education around cultural safety within a global healthcare context.

Tabhata now serves in the RNAO as the Student Executive Network Officer for the New Registered Nurses Interest Group (NRNIG), where she continues to expand her leadership impact. She acts as a liaison between nursing students and professional organizations, advocating for student engagement, supporting leadership development, and driving initiatives that strengthen the future of nursing in Ontario
